Dr Juana M. Sanchez-Braverman M.D. M.P.H. FAAP
Dr. Juana Maria Sanchez is the Medical Director of Bella Donna Medical Aesthetics and the La Vista-Norcross Medical Group. She is a practicing physician who has double certifications in Georgia, specializing in Cosmetic Medicine, Pediatrics and Family Practice. She has been practicing medicine for over 30 years, since moving to Atlanta to further her education in Medicine at Emory University.
Dr. Sanchez is originally from Monterrey, Mexico and graduated from Medical School there in 1978. She then continued her medical training at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, graduating in 1987 with her Master's Degree in Public Health. She followed Continuing Specialization in Pediatric Medicine, finally graduating in 1990. Dr. Sanchez started her private practice in the year 2000. Wanting to incorporate Aesthetic Medicine into her practice, Juana continued her education by extensively studying Medical Aesthetics in California, Florida, Nevada and, most recently, Paris, France.
Dr. Sanchez is a physician dedicating her time entirely to the care of the patient as a whole, which includes body, mind and spirit. Wanting to create a different model for her practice, differing from modern medicine that focuses on one problem, she has integrated her treatments using a holistic approach, while maintaining her personal touch. She recognizes the Doctor-Patient relationship as an important component; as it should be. For that reason, she has always been a solo practitioner. In addition, she caters to both the Anglo and the Hispanic communities.
Never satisfied in the way that medicine has been practiced or her own expertise, Juana has now incorporated anti-aging medicine into her practice by adding another 2 years of training. She has extensive training in care of the skin. This has enabled her to practice medicine with the highest standards, improve quality of life and enhance the natural beauty of her patients; thus helping the patient look as good as they feel.
Dr. Sanchez is very well known in the community. She is a member of the Group of Physicians of the Georgia Chapter. She belongs to multiple societies, including Fellow of American Academy of Pediatrics, Cobb County Medical Society, Women Physicians Alliance, Greater Atlanta Pediatric Society, American Academy of Cosmetic Physicians, The American Society of Laser Physicians and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Group, among others.
In the past she participated in radio talk shows discussing many health issues and in the Brazilian magazine talking about aesthetic issues. She continues to work at her peak, as this is her passion.
