This minimally invasive procedure helps to initiate the regenerative process by harvesting the growth factors that platelets are known to contain. Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is a concentrated blood sample that contains high levels of platelets, a critical component of the wound healing process. Platelets contain growth factors that are responsible for stimulating tissue generation and repair. Growth factors derived from platelets are responsible for soft tissue repair, bone regeneration, development of new blood vessels, and stimulation of the wound healing process.
The goal of the treatment is intentional, targeted inflammation at the point of injury. The result is stimulation of growth factors, attraction of steam cells and instigation of the healing cascade. PRP treatment is autologous, as they are your own blood cells, so there is little to no risk of rejection or allergic reaction.
But PRP delivers a concentration of platelets and growth factors that is roughly 4-6 times greater than that found in whole blood.
The treatment is quick, essentially painless and harnesses the body’s natural healing abilities without surgery or drugs. We can use this procedure in combination with other aesthetic procedures to enhance results.
PRP is used in combination with micro-needling therapy to treat a variety of medical conditions including:
- Hair Loss
- Epidermal thinning
- Fine lines and Orbicular
- Hair Loss
- Epidermal thinning and volume loss in the face, neck and décolleté

- Perioral vertical lines
- Nasolabial folds
- Active acne and acne scars
